Alright guys, since many of us at AdaptiveBlue love Tumblr we've integrated support for Tumblr into the new release of BlueOrganizer (partly a selfish act, but aren't those the best features?). BlueOrganizer is a Firefox addon that provides a better browsing experience.
You can now post a movie that you love or a music album that you're just listening to - instantly with a beautiful thumbnail of the cover to your tumblr site.
Great! If you have any questions (or feedback, cause it's a new feature) let me know - we pride ourselves on how responsive we are.
In a nut shell: as you surf around the web, BlueOrganizer recognizes the specific object/noun of the page (movies on imdb, albums on last.fm, books on amazon, etc.) and you can then interact with the specific object in a really smart way. One new way is to share the object right to your tumblr site. Nice!
That would only capture the artwork and not the "object." The beautiful thing about BlueOrganizer is that it understands the object that you're interacting with - whether it be a movie, a music album, a stock, etc.
So when you send it to your tumblr site via BlueOrganizer you're sending the entire object - including a thumb of the cover, the title, and a link back to the object itself. Much richer than just the album artwork.
