ok. so im having difficulty filtering myself out of google analytic reports (the gray line is everyone, including myself, from my network). i thought my IP would be static, but it isnt. g analytics has other ways to resolve the issue; none of which will work too well.
i can filter by an IP range, xxx.yyy.zzz.1-255: problem is, then i wouldnt know when someone (other than me) does hit the site from the network; i also dont know how extensive the network is or who it includes. i can filter by domain: not applicable.
i can filter by cookie. that would entail embedding a cookie loader someone deep in the confines fof a page i know no one else will use. it also entails accesing that site every day considering our pcs cookie/history/temp stuff is deleted at night.
(also, i know feedburner can do certain things to exclude computers, but how can i exclude IPs, im guessing that doing this will put me in the same pickle, but...)
