Hello...

I have serious problems with the {block:PreviousPage} and {block:NextPage} blocks: I want to have a page navigation on TOP and on the BOTTOM of my page.

Problem: Tumblr only renders those blocks the first time they appear in the code. The second time, those blocks do not get rendered, so in my case, no arrows to the left/right appear.

See code in attached file.

Please let me know if you can solve this strange issue.

See the code live on my Tumblr Blog (bottom of page)

Thank you!

Hi Maxoon,
I contacted Tumblr support about a similar problem with {block:PermalinkPage}. They only support one instance of most of the blocks so you have to choose which one you want to keep or find some hack to work around the problem.

Maybe you could put them together in a narrow column rather than in two sections?

What's the URL for your blog?

Good luck,
Marc

challenge: does anyone have a firewall workaround hack involving an API/PHP (i really dont know what that means) type terminal?

essentially, i can read the api fine and understand the syntax. but heres the rub. firewall. the co. just added tumblr.com to the blocked hosts (though i can still bring up my tumblr itself). unfortunately, i cant log in, and cant use the 'share on tumblr' bookmark. essentially, the solution im thinking of here is a free floating PHP client on a web page (no install) that i can plug in my deets and *bang* post via proxy using the php.

i have looked over using google docs but they dont have the tumblr api, not to mention the massive hassle it would amount to. i have tried pipes and socialthing, but until we can move away from IE6.0 (another rub, or stye in my eye) both are no-goes.

any takers-on?
