Ok. I think I really need to invite you one per one..
So, as I first said, Please send me you r email address if you want to join the channel and test it. I think tumblr generates a different "join link" each time I invite someone.
I simply clicked on the join link that poirpom originally posted. After clicking on the link, I was taken back to my dashboard but the "Tumblers" channel automatically appeared under the Channels menu. I didn't have to do anything else to get it to work.
...I'm not sure how much this may or may not help.
I'm a big fan of that embed feature, but it doesn't seem to function. I have used it with other services, and it's a very nice touch. Hopefully it'll function soon.
The new theme editor is delicious, though I wish it had the ability to keep track of old themes a user creates themselves.
Channels would be a nice way to split work/non-work geek/non-geek gamer/non-gamer stuff.
The audio post is useful if you want to share an mp3, I suppose; but I have embedded audio posts with LiveJournal that just require me to make a phonecall. All the busywork is done for me.
The dashboard also seems to be missing that feature where you could turn off viewing everyone else's posts but your own. I've found that feature handy, but thought it would be nice to be able to turn off individuals, rather than just all/none.
You csn't go to the tumblr front page if you're logged in; it'll automatically take you to your dashboard.
