Create a link list in the sidebar

Hello you all,

Does someone want to help with creating a link list at my blog in the non-existing sidebar? How do you create one? I would want a link list on the left side of the blog, a bit down on the page, because my posts are for some reason placed a bit down the page.
If someone knows how to do this and would like to help me, I would be really thankful.

You can use HTML in your blog's Description to include text, photos, links, or widget code that will show on all of your blog pages.

You can edit your Description by clicking the Customize link on the Dashboard and then clicking the Info link.
