I too wish I'd found Tumblr a long time ago! I have two other Wordpress blogs, and nothing beats the simplicity and ease of Tumblr. The randomness of Tumblr is what makes it so great -- you can make it whatever you want.
I don't think there's anything wrong with reblogging -- it's all about making your space your own and what interests you.
Because it's superior in that it does everything and then some more quickly and more efficiently. And it works right nearly all the time. Yay Tumblr.
I still have lots of readers from my old blog who are only looking from the outside. What makes me different from other Tumbleloggers is that my first concern is what the page looks like to the outside world.
My second concern is that my page is mainly original content about me and my life. I'm not interested in reblogging items I'd ignore if you sent them to me in an email fwd.
I like comments because I like the things I've posting to be conversation starters. I'm not out here on the internet by myself.
If I was I would have gotten bored years ago.
Mostly I like Tumblr cause you can use it however you like and make whatever you want of it. And you can change your mind as you go if you feel like it.
It's awesome. I'm a fan.
But you can't tell me I'm doing it wrong because I shamelessly added comments or because I don't blog and re-blog every pro-mac story I see online.
