I've seen less and less activity around here over the past month. Are people already abandoning the community? I've actually been spending more and more time over on Tumblrist lately because this place has been so quiet. Continue

Now that v3 is letting us tag all of our posts, I've been trying to decide if it's worth it to go back and tag all of my posts.

As it stands right now, I have nearly 70 pages of posts (almost 700 posts!!!). I haven't seen too many talk about tagging since the upgrade so, if you have an opinion, I'd love to hear it.

After talking to some of my fellow Tumblers in the irc chat room, I’ve become aware of an issue that readers using Internet Explorer are having when viewing my tumblelog. Apparently, the images in my sidebars are overlapping the main content of my page, making my content basically un-readable.

I don’t personally use IE and never will. That being said, I know there are a lot of people who still use IE (for reasons I’ll never understand) and I’d like to fix this issue a.s.a.p.

As you may or may not have noticed, I’ve removed everyone from my “follow” list. It’s not that I’m no longer interested in keeping up with what everyone is posting. In fact, it’s just the opposite. I’ve decided that instead of just “following” other people’s tumblelogs, I’ve added everyone to my Google Reader. Why? For two reasons.

It seems that, since the update to version 3, Tumblr has been having a rough time. The service has been down more than it's been accessible over the past couple of days. I have managed to make a few new posts but, most of the time, I can't get the dashboard to load. I consistently get time out errors when I'm trying to access any part of Tumblr.

I'm just sitting here, anticipating what new features will be waiting for us once Dave and the rest of the crew are done updating the Tumblr service. It's not very often that I get this excited about a simple update to an online service but I know I'm not alone. Then again, I shouldn't be surprised...Tumblr is just that freakin' cool.
